MTP Electrical Traffic Signal Arrow

Here’s a breakdown of each color and its meaning in traffic signal lights:
- Red Light: Indicates stop. When illuminated, all vehicles and pedestrians must come to a complete stop behind the stop line or crosswalk.
- Yellow (Amber) Light: Generally indicates caution. It is displayed before the light turns red to warn drivers and pedestrians that the signal is about to change. Drivers should prepare to stop unless it is unsafe to do so.
- Green Light: Indicates go. When illuminated, drivers and pedestrians are permitted to proceed through the intersection or crosswalk. However, they must yield to any vehicles or pedestrians still lawfully within the intersection.
