Description

MTP Electrical Traffic Signal Arrow

Traffic signal lights are controlled by a centralized traffic management system or by individual controllers at each intersection. The timing of each color (red, yellow, and green) is carefully programmed based on traffic flow patterns, time of day, and pedestrian activity. Advanced systems may also incorporate sensors and cameras to detect vehicles and adjust signal timings dynamically to optimize traffic flow.

The use of traffic signal lights helps improve traffic safety, reduce congestion, and regulate the orderly movement of vehicles and pedestrians at intersections, thereby minimizing accidents and improving overall traffic efficiency.

Here’s a breakdown of each color and its meaning in traffic signal lights:

  1. Red Light: Indicates stop. When illuminated, all vehicles and pedestrians must come to a complete stop behind the stop line or crosswalk.
  2. Yellow (Amber) Light: Generally indicates caution. It is displayed before the light turns red to warn drivers and pedestrians that the signal is about to change. Drivers should prepare to stop unless it is unsafe to do so.
  3. Green Light: Indicates go. When illuminated, drivers and pedestrians are permitted to proceed through the intersection or crosswalk. However, they must yield to any vehicles or pedestrians still lawfully within the intersection.

The power of 110 volts to 240-volt electricity line and because of using by LED lights, so its power consumption is very low (10 watts for each color).
